2013 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards

It was a great night at the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. As Nathan took home 3 awards; Video of the Year (Hawaiian Legends), Island Album of the Year ('Io), Song of the Year (Uhiwai). And had the great honor of performing with Big Islands own "Kahulanui", in which they brought down the house!

Jeff Peterson (3 time Grammy Award winner and producer) and Nathan Aweau (3 time Male Vocalist of the Year), completed a brand new C.D. released only in Japan (Alani Aloha Sound).  Along with some of Jeff’s wonderful originals, they decided to take some hula standards and gave them a little jazz twist.  The result is a very thoughtful, intellectual and fresh arrangement to some of Hawai’i’s popular hula songs.
